SIZING
What sizes does Miki Miette carry? Miki Miette uses bucket sizing for a relaxed, comfortable fit across our premium children's clothing line. Our current size range is:
Baby rompers: 3-6m, 6-9m, 9-12m, 12-18m Separates and all other styles: 12-18m, 2/3, 4/5, 6/7, 8/10
How does Miki Miette sizing run? Our boutique kids clothing is true to size, based on average height and weight for each age range. If your child is between sizes or on the taller side, we recommend sizing up. Our bucket sizing is designed to give children room to move and grow without sacrificing fit.
I'm buying a gift — what size should I buy for my toddler or baby? When buying children's clothing as a gift, when in doubt size up. Kids grow fast and a slightly larger size will get more wear than one they've already outgrown. Miki Miette's bucket sizing makes gifting easy — a 2/3 fits most 2 and 3 year olds, a 4/5 fits most 4 and 5 year olds, and so on.
For the best kids clothing gift, look for styles that mix and match easily — a great print top or versatile bottom makes a more useful gift than a set that needs to be worn together.
Do you carry newborn sizes? Our smallest size is 3-6 months. We don't currently carry newborn or preemie sizing in our premium baby clothing line.
ORDERING
How long does it take to process my order? All Miki Miette orders are processed within 1-2 business days before shipping from our Orange County, California warehouse.
What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, as well as Afterpay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
Do you offer Afterpay on children's clothing? Yes — Afterpay is available at checkout on all Miki Miette orders. Split your purchase of premium kids clothing into 4 interest-free payments.
Do you offer gift wrapping? Gift wrapping is coming soon. In the meantime, our boutique children's clothing packaging is designed to feel special on its own — perfect for gifting as-is.
Do you have a loyalty or rewards program? A loyalty program for our Miki Miette community is coming soon. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when it launches.
SHIPPING
How much does shipping cost on children's clothing orders? We keep shipping simple and affordable:
- Free shipping on all US orders over $150
- $9.95 flat rate on US orders under $150
- $15.00 priority shipping (2-4 business days)
- Canada: $25.00 flat rate (6-10 business days)
- Rest of world: calculated at checkout via DHL Express
How long does shipping take? US standard orders of our boutique kids clothing arrive in 4-7 business days from the date of shipment. Priority shipping arrives in 2-4 business days. Please allow 1-2 business days for order processing before shipment.
Do you ship children's clothing internationally? Yes — we ship premium children's clothing worldwide. We ship to Canada at a flat rate of $25.00 and to the rest of the world via DHL Express at rates calculated at checkout. Please note that import duties and taxes may apply depending on your country and are the responsibility of the customer.
Where does Miki Miette ship from? All orders ship from our warehouse in Orange County, California.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy on kids clothing? We accept returns on unworn, unwashed Miki Miette items with original tags attached within 30 days of receipt. Returns on boutique children's clothing are free when you choose store credit — we'll send you a prepaid shipping label. If you prefer a refund to your original payment method, return shipping is at your expense.

Do you offer exchanges on children's clothing? We don't offer direct exchanges at this time. If you need a different size in our kids clothing, return your original item and place a new order. If you used a promo code, contact us and we'll honor the same discount on your new order.
What items are final sale? All sale and discounted children's clothing, holiday and seasonal prints, and bundles are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. No exceptions.
PRODUCT & CARE
How should I care for my Miki Miette kids clothing? Our premium children's clothing is designed to last. Wash with like colors in cold water, low tumble dry. Wear, play, wash, repeat.
Where is Miki Miette clothing made? All of our boutique children's clothing is ethically made by a production team we trust and are genuinely proud to work with. Quality and ethical manufacturing are at the core of everything we make.
What fabrics does Miki Miette use in their children's clothing? We work with a range of premium, high quality fabrics depending on the season and style — including cotton gauze, loop terry, French terry, and active jersey. Full fabric content is listed on each product page so you always know exactly what your little one is wearing.
Is Miki Miette clothing high quality? Quality is everything to us. Our premium kids clothing is designed to survive dozens of washes, food spills, and everything real childhood throws at it — while still looking beautiful. We'd rather make fewer, better things than contribute to a world of disposable fashion.
ABOUT MIKI MIETTE
Who is behind Miki Miette children's clothing? Miki Miette was founded in 2011 by Sawako Yamauchi, a Los Angeles-based fashion designer, mother of two, and dog mom. Every piece in our boutique children's clothing line is designed by Sawako — in the in-between moments of real life, between school drop-offs, braiding hair, and cooking dinner.
Is Miki Miette been sold in stores? Yes — Miki Miette boutique children's clothing has been carried by Nordstrom and over 150 independent boutiques across the country.
