A Picture is Worth...

Have you ever wondered what goes into a kid’s photoshoot? It’s a lot of wrangling, playing, running and jumping, but our friend and local lifestyle and children photographer Jillian Sorkin makes it look so easy!

Jillian hails from Chicago and was raised on the beaches of Del Mar, California. A full-time professional, Jillian studied psychology at the University of San Francisco and Phillips Graduate Institute and later studied photography at RISD, OTIS, UCLA and Santa Fe Workshops. She now calls West Hollywood home and pursues her passion of photography whenever she can, photographing editorials, families, pets and everything in between.

We brought in Jillian to do our photo shoots for Miki Miette’s Spring ‘17 collection and we couldn’t be more pleased. Our new spring collection features playful prints, bright colors and as always, the softest of fabrics for your little ones to jump and play in. The spring collection includes new pieces that we’re so excited about, like our Nola Romper for girls and updated favorites like the boys Beckham Jogger in Point Break. With boys and girls running around in our comfy and cute spring pieces, Jillian captured every perfect moment and the essence of spring and summertime fun.
